Wulong Lanba Art Festival 2019

The first art season is based on the theme of “Returning Art to the People”. It is divided into three sections: “I am coming from the mountains”, “The Voice of the Earth”, “Village Symbiosis Plan”, 39 artists/art groups, 41 works are presented in this art season.

NordArt 2019

NordArt will again be presenting new highlights from China in 2019. After Liu Ruowang's spectacular apes and Xu Bing's phoenixes, visitors can look forward to Noah's Garden by Deng Guoyuan and Babylonian by Xi Jianjun. All prize winners of NordArt 2018 will be represented with new works this year. These include the three Public Choice Award winners Xiang Jing, Zhang Dali and Ekaterina Zacharova as well as Michal Gabriel, winner of the NordArt Prize sponsored by Hans-Julius and Johanna Ahlmann.

MENTAL SLAVERY
Foundation Montresso
Marrakech, Morocco
From November 2018 to January 2019 the artist Joachim Silué will present his work at the Montresso Foundation in Morocco.
His series of works are created by using organic materials and photographs that allow the artist to create his artistic poetry during his experience in Marrakech. Painting, sculpture, installation, photography and design are the media he is using for develop his artistic expression.

This exhibit, which is being presented for the first time in Rome, corresponds to a selection of posters and original paintings, used as patterns for printed sheets, during these years. This collection, which has been exhibited in different art spaces around the world, consists of 89 posters from the times of the Revolution.
The event will be in charge of Mr. Rodney Cone, Stevens Vaughn and Alfredo Varas, Directors of Hafnia Foundation and curated by Massimo Scaringella.
