Was born in China in 1976, he now lives and works in Xiamen, China. He studied art at Xiamen University, Rietveld Academie and the Sandberg Institute, Amsterdam, were he graduated with his Master degree. He also curated some international art exhibitions in China and in the Netherlands. Tim Chen Chanxi has been a guest teacher at the Sandberg Institute and he is currently teaching at the Xiamen University Tan Kan Kee College.
