In the process of deconstruction and reconstruction, Meiya Lin's work considers the tension between contradictory qualities: chaos versus order, the controlling versus the controlled. She aims to let these abstract concepts emerge as concrete objects, in an impossible time and space, which shows the relationship among those multiple objects and counterpart which lies at a distance from them. While exploits the universal visual language of the video clip, it’s a commentary on the iconography of images in our society.
